Just Sayin’…Inner city versus suburban drug trafficking

But the caller pointed out that it’s not always racism as to why these people aren’t targeted and Blacks are. Why you ask?
Well, his point, which is a very valid point, they handle it like any other business. Supply and demand. They sell it quietly out of their homes, or some other place without drawing attention to themselves. Unlike so many Blacks who are out on the streets killing each other when someone comes into their territory, and when they decide to take someone else’s drugs. And they do it where everybody can see them, on the street corner in broad daylight. Stupid.
According to most police officers I’ve talked to and most things I’ve read on drugs,  the vast majority of the young people being killed on our streets, are due to drug related crimes. And if we were to probe into the number of homicides throughout this country in urban areas we would find that 70 percent or more are Black on Black, yet Whites are selling the majority of the illegal drugs and guns in this country by far. Why aren’t they killing each other? They make the big money while we kill each other over the leftovers.
We are doing what Al Capone, and the mafia used to do back during the liquor prohibition days. But they finally got smart, and stopped killing each other, especially in broad daylight on the streets.  I’m sure there’s a hit here and there, but not like what our kids are doing.
We all know that the mob has their fingers in the drugs and guns till, because there is so much big money in both, yet when we look at the homicide list in Pittsburgh and if we looked in other cities, how many Whites do we see on it in comparison to Blacks?
When are we going to wake up? The killing is not just a moral issue; it’s a business issue. If someone moves into your territory you don’t just off them. Why not try to undercut their prices or sell a better product, or offer some kind of sale. Take a look at Giant Eagle, Wal-Mart, K-mart, Family Dollar, Bottom Dollar, Shop & Save and many more. They are all surviving without gunning down each other.
I know you are saying that everybody needs food. Well it’s getting to the point where almost everybody is using some kind of drug to get high, coming from all walks of life, and income levels in this country. It’s a shame but I have to keep saying it, we are the “getting highest country” in the world.
Think about it. Marijuana, heroin, crack, cocaine, meth, different kinds of mixtures of legal pills called uppers, and downers, alcohol, opium, angel dust, and I’m sure I’ve missed some. The kids are finding all kinds of things around the house, which are legal for other uses, to get high on. Yet our prisons are full of drug users, and dealers.
It has become so bad that we have moved ahead of China in the number of people in jail per population worldwide. Yet in the so-called War on Drugs no one seems to be addressing the fact that Americans, young and old are so dependent on drugs that they would do anything for them. What is going on in this country that makes people feel that they must be high to have fun, to work, or to even exist? And this is across all communities and every income level. The more we send to jail, the more we kill, there are always two more waiting to take their place because of the demand.
We don’t need to kill to make money.
