Overtime

:08—What about O.J.? Do you honestly mean to sit there and tell me that you really don’t care about O.J.? Man you’re cold!
:07—Okay, okay, okay…yes, the Penguins…oops did it again…your Penguins beat Columbus, a team they should have swept and went up three games to two. But don’t start screaming, it ain’t over yet.

Film Review Draft Day

:06—I don’t know why you moan and groan about the movie review when you know deep down inside you love it when I tell you what movies to see…in a manly straight kind of way of course. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! Draft Day, starring Kevin Costner gets three basketballs from me.  Good story line.  Jennifer Garner, action, reality, Jennifer Garner, some Steelers shots and of course Jennifer Garner.
:05—Here’s your NBA round-up provided by Mike “Mi-Cool” Booker. Washington continues to stun the Bulls and go up 3 to 1. Golden State beats the Clippers…Good! Brooklyn struggles again, but beats Toronto. The Heat burns up Michael Jordan’s Carolina wanna bee’s and the Spurs are scaring me going down to Dallas once again.  Now you’re caught up…so shut up!
:04—Speaking of M.J., and I was, remember when you stopped doing whatever you were doing no matter what it was to get home to see his airness defy gravity? Man, those were the days.
:03—B-Ball time is here, Champions style, and something for everyone, Saturday, May 10 at the new Centre Avenue YMCA. Middle school boys at 12 noon, pro game at 1 p.m., featuring the Pittsburgh Bullits and The Legends game at 2:00 p.m., featuring former NBA star Myron Brown and the Brown Bombers versus The Pittsburgh Job Corps led by Coach Debbie Coleman.  Fun to be had by all.
:02—A Champions goodbye to good Brother Sterling Smith.  In short, the best guy in the world and the man that made sure Connie Hawkins was where he was supposed to be. Rest in Peace Sterling. You were the man!
