The Bartko Foundation held their annual Irene’s Dream Luncheon at the Fairmont Hotel on April 12. The Foundation’s mission is to invest financially in the self-sufficiency of single minority mothers. It customarily supports ambitions related to education, transportation, employment and housing. Studies show that these areas have the most profound impact on the lives of the Foundation’s recipients and, therefore guides its grants.
