RACE Exhibition
The Carnegie Museum of Natural History presents “RACE: Are We So Different?” at 4400 Forbes Ave., Oakland. This exhibition looks at the ways science and human-history has intersected to form our understanding and beliefs about race. It explores the history of the idea of race, the changing role of science in that history and so much more. The exhibit will be displayed through Oct. 27. Jazz Jam
CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge presents “The Roger Humphries & RH Factor Jazz Jam Session” at 8 p.m. at 2901-2911 Penn Ave., Strip District. There will be live jazz and fun every Thursday night. Baseball in Pittsburgh
The Carnegie Museum of Art presents the “Teenie Harris Photographs: Baseball in Pittsburgh” exhibition at the Carnegie Museum of Art, Scaife Lobby, 4400 Forbes Ave., Oakland. The exhibit highlights 25 of the most memorable photographs from Harris’ 700 images tracing the history of baseball in Pittsburgh’s Black communities. Jazz at Andys
