Best in Beauty, Fashion celebrated at Bella Awards

The Pittsburgh Bella Awards celebrated and highlighted unique individuals who have madesignificant contributions to the Beauty Industry.
The Pittsburgh Bella Awards show is committed to recognizing individuals in the city of Pittsburgh who have made a name for themselves in the field of beauty and fashion. The Bella Awards was held on May 11, at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum. Award categories included,
The Peoples Choice Award for:
Best Makeup Artist, Best Hair Stylist, Best Hair Salon, Best Barber, Best Barbershop, Best Nail Artist, Best Fashion Designer, Best Boutique, Best Empire School Instructor of the Year.

Other awards given on this evening included, the Community Love Award, the Longevity Award, and the Rising Star Award.  These Award winners were chosen by an unbiased group of industry representatives.
This year the Bella Awards was hosted by VH1s Love and Hip Hop, and Author of Game Over: My Love For Hip Hop, Winter Ramos. Ramos was joined by co-host, local comedian and funny man, Young Stu.

The Bella Awards embraces all corners of fashion, to the fresh and emerging talent of the future, to the trailblazers who have impacted the local beauty industry over the years. The Bella Awards featured a few of Pittsburgh’s most talented vocalists and spoken word artists as well.  Along side the local talent, were special guest R&B diva Keke Wyatt, and special guest, DJ Mel-Man of Aftermath records.
