PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS & STRATEGIST SPECIALIST
The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Portfolio Analytics & Strategist Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA responsible for performing complex analysis, synthesizing analytical results and creating reporting for concentration limits, risk tolerance limits, stress testing and consumer/Retail credit risk. Specific duties include: (i) synthesize analytical results and develop, recommend and implement business strategies related to credit risk appetite, concentration limits and risk tolerance limits for various asset classes; (ii) collaborate with line of business, Finance and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and to understand its implications; (iii) participate in the automation of reporting and calculation of concentration limits including risk weighted assets (RWA) and regulatory capital; (iv) leverage business and product expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk adjusted returns and return on capital, deliver profitable growth and communicate conclusions; (v) support Federal Reserve Board stress testing (CCAR) effort and capital (Basel II & III) allocation requirement on an on-going basis; (vi) design and enhance analytical reporting (MIS) suites to track the concentration limit trends for portfolios reviews and enhance strategies by tracking actual performance to expectations; and (vii) conduct empirical analysis, evaluation on market trends affecting credit risk and returns of consumer assets and distill insights into consumer credit risk narratives.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Financial Engineering plus 7 years of credit risk analytics and portfolio management experience in retail banking is required. Experience must include: (i) CCAR/DFAST stress testing; (ii) financial analytics; (iii) statistical techniques including Regression, Time-series analysis, Transition Matrices Modeling, Hypothesis Testing and Multi-Variate Analysis; (iv) consumer products (home equity, mortgage, credit card); and (v) data analysis using various tools and statistical packages: SAS, SQL and Tableau.
