Pittsburgh mayor to host gay marriage ceremony

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto plans to hold a wedding ceremony for 20 same-sex couples this weekend.
Peduto says in a release that the ceremony will be held in the downtown City-County building on Sunday morning, June 15. Immediately after the ceremony Peduto and the newlyweds plan to take part in the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh’s Pride March.
The ceremony is not open to the public, but will be broadcast live on the local city cable TV channel.
