Where Only the Truth Matters
Most of the time some of “you people” . . . yeah, I said it, “you people” try to pretend that you actually know more than me about sports . . . people please!  I am the professional here.  I’ve been trying to tell ya since April “The Spurs” were on a mission and wanted to pay “The Heat” back for that rip-off at the buzzer last year.  Remember, “vengeance is best served cold.”
So I’m always telling you that only the truth matters here.  Well, apparently the U.S. Soccer Coach subscribes to the same theory.  Coach Jurgen Klinsmann said very matter of factly that his team can’t win the World Cup.  Hey Coach, ok!
My good friend, Terry Swanson, is enjoying a great Father’s Day celebration and it couldn’t happen to a better guy.  His son, Terry, Jr., is a graduate of the Mighty Aliquippa High and will be carrying the pigskin for Toledo University next year.  Aside from being the fifth best running back in Pennsylvania, being the Quipps MVP for 2014, having 4,333 rushing yards and the WPIAL Championship MVP two years running, the most important thing to know about this young man is that he carries a 3.5 grade average, Honor Roll 9th through 12th grade, and sits high atop the principal’s list.  Now those are the stats we’re most impressed with.  (More on Terry, Jr. in a Courier feature soon.)
Speaking of which, Happy Dad’s Day to all and Happy Grads Day to all the others.
In case you’re not keeping track, there’s only about six weeks before Steeler training
camp starts for real.  I don’t know about you, but . . . let’s get it on!!!
Once again, I told you not to worry about the Pirates.  It was just a matter of time before they got their act together.  Now they’re tops in most NBL categories slowly, but surely.
The truth is, it sucks to be O.J.!
