Public Meeting
JUNE 26—Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and Public Safety Director Stephen Bucar will host a Public Meeting for Zone 2 Residents on the Search for a New Police Chief at 6 p.m. at Teamsters local 249, 4701 Butler St., Lawrenceville. During this forum, residents will have the opportunity to share their ideas about how to improve policing in Pittsburgh, identify their priorities and suggest the qualities they believe are essential in a new chief. Rib Fest
JUNE 27—Simon Event Management will host the Western Pennsylvania Rib Fest at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds, in Greensburg. Enrichment Lecture Seminar

Kidney Health Check
JUNE 28—The National Kidney Foundation will host a Kidney Health Check from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Kingsley Association, 6435 Frankstown Ave., East Liberty. The event will feature a kidney health survey, body mass index, blood pressure measurements, an individual consultation with a kidney doctor and a wealth of resources. Moral Monday Speaker
JUNE 28—The United Steel Workers, Fight Back Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Unit of the NAACP will host the Moral Monday Movement organizer Rev. William Barber at 12 p.m. at Wesley Center AMEZ Church, Centre Avenue, Hill District. Reverend Barber, president of the North Carolina NAACP and pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church in North Carolina, will discuss with labor, community and clergy leaders how to use his example to make Pittsburgh the most livable city for Pittsburghers. Program
ONGOING—The Allegheny County Department of Human Services will host its annual SummerFood Program at various locations throughout the count.
