NO Limits
Kelly Strayhorn Theater and Chamber Music Pittsburgh presents No Limits with C Street Brass and DJ Jakeisrain at 7:30 p.m. at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, 5941 Penn Ave., East Liberty. Reflecting on RACE
The Carnegie Museum of Natural History presents Reflecting on RACE with Terrance Hayes and Sheila Carter-Jones from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at CMNH, 4400 Forbes Ave., Oakland. This special edition is part of the museum’s “RACE: Are We So Different?” interactive exhibit about race and society. They will lead this intensive poetry-writing workshop that explores and reflects this exhibit. There will also be sessions on Sept. 6 and Sept. 14. Space is limited and registration is required. The Alumni Theater Company presents “HAIR” at 7 p.m. at the New Hazlett Theater, 6 Allegheny Square East, North Side. The young ATC artists will bring unbelievable energy, skill and charm to this Broadway musical that’s set in New York’s East Village in 1967.
