Bioengineer
Position available at University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, PA.  Resp. for the overall organization & development of hardware & control systems for research projs. including neural recording, stimulation, psychophysical apparatus & behavioral testing; Coord. technical development for studies; Lead role in design & developmt of new electrodes, manufacturing techniques & testing apparatus; Lead maintenance of RNEL equip. & work w/students & staff to complete work independently, work includes: trouble-shooting of equip.; recognize need for & implement software/hardware upgrades; installation; testing of equipment; design & machining of eng. parts as needed; preparing protocols related to equip. operation & training personnel on equip. operation; Oversee students in post-processing & mgmt. of neural data; Maintain research records; Assist in devlopmt, review & implementation of budgets for numerous projs. Reqs: Masters degree or foreign equiv. degree in Biomedical Eng. or related field; 1 yr of exp. working in tech. engineering apps. of Research Lab;  Knowledge of MATLAB or LabView; Exp. applying general eng. principles to problem-solve; Knowledge of electrophysiology related equipment (neural recording, microstimulation); Knowledge of CAD programming; Exp. identifying new techniques or modifications to code to enhance data collection procedures, data processing &/or analysis. PeopleSoft Application
Systems Developer
Port Authority is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Application Systems Developer to be responsible for designing, planning, coding, testing, and delivery of required functional and technical specifications and designs in order to meet business requirements and departmental standards.
Job requirements include:
•BS Degree in Computer Science from an accredited school or related discipline.  Related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of two (2) years of programming experience. Thorough understanding of Application Engine, SQL, SQR, Crystal, Application Designer, Trace, and other development tools is a must.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
Preferred attributes:
•Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials, H/R or Payroll, Version 8x to 9.1.
•Knowledge of three-tier architecture.
