UNIT MANAGER I—BUSINESS CREDIT CARD ACQUISITIONS
The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Unit Manager I – Business Credit Card Acquisitions in Pittsburgh, PA. As a member of an analytics team within Analytics and Portfolio Management, this position will provide in-depth analytics supporting Business Credit Card acquisitions. Specific duties include: (i) develop, train and manage analytic staff; (ii) lead the design, development and validation of marketing, underwriting and portfolio management analysis to optimize portfolio RAROC; (iii) support model development of CCAR, Basel PD, LGD and EAD models; (iv) produce fully developed P&L’s across multiple segments such as product, channel and industry; (v) work with business partners to develop new products, marketing strategy and customer management for our small business customers; (vi) extract and manipulate raw data from sources such as mainframe, Oracle and UNIX using programming tools such as SAS and SQL to enable analysis and strategy development; and (vii) communicate results of business credit card acquisition to senior management and working committees in a cross functional environment.
Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Management Science or Finance plus 3 years of experience using analysis with quantitative techniques to support financial strategy development is required. Additional requirements include knowledge of credit card P&L and business banking lending, as well as experience with the following: (i) advanced database management (writing complex SQL queries, performing UNIX commands); (ii) analysis with SAS (Enterprise, UNIX, MACRO and XML), advanced Excel (writing macros) and Oracle database (evaluating data, creating queries); (iii) working with data mining and statistical modeling techniques (regression, logistic regression and decision trees); and (iv) presenting analytics results to executive management using PowerPoint.
