‘No Good Deeds’ Congratulated by Celebrities for Taking No. 1 at Box Office

It was a great week for actress Taraji P. Henson. It has been a great year for producer Will Packer.
Henson, who starred in the suspense thriller No Good Deed, celebrated her 44th birthday while on a whirlwind promotional tour for her latest hit movie. It paid off as No Good Deed landed at No. 1 at the box office.
This is Henson’s second No. 1 movie this year after Think Like a Man 2.
Packer, who collaborated with Henson on Think Like and Man and its sequel, is in the midst of a career year. He celebrated his third No. 1 movie in 2014 as Think Like a Man 2 and the $100 million blockbuster Ride Along, starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, and About Last Night, starring Kevin Hart and Regina Hall, also took the top spots during their opening weekend.
No Good Deed grossed about $24 million, while it was produced on a $13.8 million budget, making Packer a winner on yet another level because he was able to make all the money back, plus earn more than $10 million in profits in the first week.
