Women’s Retreat
SEPT. 19—Monumental Baptist Church, 2240 Wylie Ave., Hill District, will host its Women’s Retreat at Ligonier Camp and Conference Center in Ligonier, Pa. Women’s Conference
SEPT. 20—The Women’s Ministry of Unity Baptist Church, 420 Fifth St., Braddock, will host its 2014 Women’s Conference at 10 a.m. The theme is “No More Excuses, Just Do It.” The lecturer will be Rev. Play/Church Anniversary
SEPT. 20—St. John the Evangelist Baptist Church, 4537 Chatsworth Ave., Hazelwood, will host the play, “God Always Makes A Way!” and its 105th Church Anniversary. On Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. the church will present its play written by Barbara Butler and directed by Diane Murray. On Sept. 21, the church will celebrate 105 years. The theme is “Holding Strong To Our Faith In God.” There will be a 11 a.m. service with guest Rev. Barry Long, followed by a 3:30 p.m. service with guest Rev. Hubert Hutcherson and his choir. Women’s Revival
