Sealed bid proposals are hereby solicited for the Community College of Allegheny County, 800 Allegheny Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15233 on the following items:
Bid Proposal No. 912-2 ā€“ RIDGE AVENUE REVITALIZATION ā€“ PHYSICAL EDUCATION BUILDING ā€“ FIRE PROTECTION
Beginning on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, Bid Forms, Instructions, Specifications, and Conditions regulating the bidding may be obtained from the CCAC Purchasing Department, 412-237-3020. There is no charge for plans and specifications.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and site visitation will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. The assembly point will be the Allegheny Campus Security Office, Phys. Ed. Building, 800 Block of Ridge Ave. at Legacy Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
Proposals will be received at the Purchasing Department until 2:00 P.M. Prevailing Time on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened.
PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT COMPLIANCE IS REQUIRED
Any proposals received after this deadline will be considered as a ā€œlate bidā€ and will be returned unopened to the offerer.
Proposals may require Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Surety as dictated by the
specifications.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on each of the above items at 9:00AM, October 7, 2014 in the Port Authorityā€™s Board Room at 345 Sixth Avenue, Fifth Floor, Pittsburgh, PA. Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. Questions regarding any of the above bids will not be entertained by the Port Authority within 48 hours of the scheduled bid opening.
These contracts may be subject to a financial assistance contract between Port Authority of Allegheny County and the United States Department of Transportation.Ā  The Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations.
Contractor is responsible for expenses related to acquiring a performance bond and insurance where applicable. All items are to be FOB delivered unless otherwise specified.Ā  Costs for delivery, bond, and insurance shall be included in bidderā€™s proposal pricing.

REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF SITE
Port Authority of Allegheny County (Port Authority) is seeking responsive bids to a Request for Bids for Purchase of Site (Site RFB) from interested and financially capable individuals, developers, companies and/or firms to acquire an approximately 7.76 acre parcel of vacant and graded land that fronts Montour Church Road in the Townships of Robinson and North Fayette, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (the Site) from Port Authority.
Port Authority is fee simple owner of the Site, and it has identified the Site as excess property. Accordingly, Port Authority is seeking bids to sell the Site for a minimum asking price of $1,127,000.00 or the highest responsive offer received. In the event of receipt of multiple responsive bids of equal dollar values, Port Authority will provide those responsive bidders submitting bids in equal monetary amounts with the opportunity to submit best and final offers to acquire the Site.
