OWN's 'If Loving You Is Wrong' delivers the network's biggest premiere ever

Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of September 8 – 14
The OWN network’s Sept. 9 debut of Tyler Perry’s “If Loving You Is Wrong” was the biggest premiere in the channel’s history. Of the 1.9 million of all viewers that watched, 1.8 million were black, and the show delivered a 1.47 rating among women 25-54.
VH1 repeated as the most watched cable network among the Top 25, with eight million viewers across four shows. OWN took second with 5.9 million for five shows. ESPN was third among cable networks with 4.2 million for its two “Monday Night Football” programs.
The total number of viewers for the Top 25 most popular cable shows is black households, according to Nielsen, was 29.8 million, or 12 percent more than the previous week.
