A large group of young people from throughout Pittsburgh showed their support for Leon Ford, seated in the wheel chair, as they recently held a rally for him.
The jury ruled in his favor, finding him innocent of assaulting police officers during an incident which he was shot five times and paralyzed.
“Hands Up – Don’t Shoot” was the theme.
The District Attorney has not decided if he’s going to retry him on the lesser charges.
