The Hill Family celebrated a major milestone in their heritage. Essie Hill, of the Hill District, was honored by family and friends with a celebration of her 95th birthday.
Hill, an avid reader of The New Pittsburgh Courier since childhood, still enjoys the paper to this day. Her 95th birthday was honored on Aug. 30 at Robert E. Williams Memorial Park.
