Steelers. What was that? Seriously, what was that?
Are we supposed to sit here and suggest that what’s going on in the Pittsburgh Steelers organization is okay?  Are we supposed to keep eating these bowls of warmed over, five day old, burnt oatmeal and pretend that it is crème brûlée?
The Pittsburgh Steelers played against the Cleveland Browns and lost 31-10. I don’t know what was more upsetting about the game. The loss. Or the fact that the loss was to Cleveland. Cleveland! Really? I loathe the Cleveland Browns.

One of the greatest joys of being a Pittsburgh native is watching the Steelers beat Cleveland Browns. I love watching Cleveland lose and listening to them talking about their loss afterwards. “HAHA”, I would shout. “That’s right Cleveland. We will always be better than you. We have a special clinic where your dog’s get neutered!”
But no, that was not the case on Sunday. I had to listen to Joe Thomas, Cleveland’s Pro Bowl tackle, state, “It was special…I’ve been on the other end of this rivalry when we lose by three scores so many times. I’ve been through the hell of getting our butts kicked. It felt really good to finally be on the other end of it. It was a family win.”
How do the Steelers lose to the Cleveland Browns in such an emphatic manner? At halftime, the Steelers were losing by 18 points. And while it wasn’t pretty, I assumed that we would pull ourselves together in the second half. But the Steelers offense never got in rhythm and played poorly overall.
Also, don’t tell me that our defense is playing terribly because we are missing two defensive starters to injury.  Isn’t this the time when the Steelers should explore bringing in different talent? I’m being serious. Shouldn’t the Steelers scouts be searching the FXFL developmental league for some fresh talent? Start giving some young, hungry men tryouts and stop recycling retired old men. Get someone with a backbone who just wants to play football!
Currently, the Steelers have a 3-3 record and they are the last team in the AFC North division standings. I repeat, the Steelers are the last team in the division. The Steelers are spiraling into total mediocrity and other teams, such as Dallas Cowboys or Cleveland Browns are dusting themselves off and playing like they have good sense. It’s disgusting.
The Steelers need an intervention.
