Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and city officials are going to unveil a new health care guide that’s designed to serve the uninsured and underinsured citizens in the Atlanta area and adequately address their health care needs.
The second edition of the Atlanta Regional Health Guide will be rolled out and explained during a Thursday morning press conference  and event that will include Reed as one of the speakers.

Officials say the guide provides contact information for health care organizations in a bilingual, easy-to-read and easy to use format.
Officials say the guide is a collaboration among the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, the National Black Nurses Association, the mayor’s office and Pfizer RxPathways.
The regional health guide was first introduced by the city of Atlanta in 2011. More than 50,000 copies were distributed.
