Racial Justice Awards Luncheon
OCT. 29—The YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh will host its 23rd Annual Racial Justice Awards Luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Westin Convention Center Hotel, 1000 Penn Ave., Downtown. Several local heroes will be recognized for their efforts to promote equality, freedom and justice. Community Halloween Party
OCT. 31—The Homewood-Brushton YMCA will host its Community Halloween Celebration and Re-Opening from 5-8 p.m. at 7140 Bennett St., Homewood. This will be the first event held at the facility since the electrical fire. The evening will include arts& crafts, a “Grab-for-apples” game, and pumpkin bowling. Kidney Walk
NOV. 2—The National Kidney Foundation will host the 13th Annual Pittsburgh Kidney Walk at 9 a.m. at the Pittsburgh Zoo& PPG Aquarium, 7340 Butler St., East Liberty.
