Propel Schools celebrate opening of their 10th School!

Hazelwood joins Propel schools located throughout Allegheny County.  Eight grade schools and two high schools carry on the promising principles and powerful practices that drive inspiration and excellence in students.  Propel Grade Schools are located in:
Braddock Hills: Propel Braddock Hills Elementary (K-8)
Turtle Creek:  Propel East (K-8)
Homestead:  Propel Homestead (K-8)
McKeesport:  Propel McKeesport (K-8)
Montour:  Propel Montour (K-8)
Northside:  Propel Northside (K-7)
Pitcairn:  Propel Pitcairn (K-8)
Propel High Schools are located in Munhall (Andrew Street High School) and Braddock Hills (Braddock Hills High School.) These schools offer challenging coursework, college preparation and many extracurricular activities.
Propel’s CreativeArts Program provides students with a wide array of fine arts classes as an essential, required part of the core curriculum. Instruction is received from the best professional artists in the Pittsburgh area via 12-week teaching residencies.
rriculum gives students hands-on, inquiry-based experiences in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.) Students become immersed in scientific problems and tasks, creating understanding through discovery.
Propel offers other holistic supports to our students, such as:
