Structural Engineer

Responsible for design and analysis of steel, reinforced concrete, and pre-stressed concrete bridges per the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) Bridge Design Specifications; compute vertical and horizontal geometry; perform hydraulic analysis; structural design of steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete beams; design of abutments, wing walls, piers, retaining walls and associated foundations; estimate construction material quantities and prepare project cost estimates and specifications; and perform bridge inspections in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards and prepare bridge inspection reports.
