Take Action Mon Valley now has chapters in Duquesne and McKeesport.
The kick-off event for the Duquesne chapter was held last month and led by founder V. Fawn Walker-Montgomery, a McKeesport councilwoman.
The purpose of the group is to stop the violence in the Mon Valley by working with youth and the families in the Mon Valley.
