PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police say the body of an 18-year-old man reported missing last month has been found in a vacant house after he was apparently shot.
Police on Monday say the body found about 9:45 p.m. Saturday is that of Trinel Bikus.
Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler says Bikus was last seen Nov. 23 and two days later told someone in a phone call that he was in the city’s crime-riddled Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood.
An autopsy was scheduled Monday, but police say it appears Bikus was fatally shot.
City homicide detectives were investigating. They’ve not named or charged any suspects.
