DEC. 17—Volunteers of America will host its Brown Bag Lunch Series from 12-1 p.m. at 1650 Main St., Pittsburgh. The topic is “Communicate Professionally in Tweets, Blogs and Posts.” This workshop will help individuals polish their writing to make sure their writing represents them in the best light, especially in social media. DEC. 18—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host its Lunch & Learn Series at 12:15 p.m. at the Downtown & Business Branch, 612 Smithfield St., Downtown.
