Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield partnered with local organizations to deliver holiday joy to several less-fortunate families.
Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, The Salvation Army, Veterans Association and the Highmark Caring Place, all teamed up to bring holiday joy to 77 less-fortunate families in Allegheny County through The Salvation Army’s “Adopt-a-Family” program.
During the month of November, Highmark employees took action by raising funds and making donations to purchase gifts for local children and families who may not otherwise receive presents this holiday season.
On Dec. 5, Highmark employee volunteers loaded the gifts into the Highmark Direct mobile marketing unit, which then delivered them to the Salvation Army for sorting.
