Pittsburgh, PA – The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh has hired Marisa C. Bartley as the executive director of the PNC YMCA in downtown Pittsburgh. Bartley will oversee the Y’s two downtown branches and two corporate wellness centers managed by the PNC Y.
“Throughout her career, Marisa has shown the active leadership necessary to support the Y’s goals of encouraging people to make healthy choices and inspiring the community to come together for the common good,” said Kevin Bolding, chief operating officer of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh.
Bartley started her new position on January 2, 2015.
Bartley will leave her positions as the business development officer for Citizens Bank’s Western Central Pennsylvania market and the chair of Citizen’s Rising Professionals group. She has been working for the past 10 years in the banking industry.
Bartley sits on the boards of the American Civil Liberties Union, the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Youth Policy Council, Imani Christian Academy and the National Urban League Young Professionals. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. She received the 2013 Emerging Leaders Award from Pitt and numerous other awards, including spots on Pittsburgh Magazine’s “40 Under 40” awards list in 2012 and the New Pittsburgh Courier’s “FAB 40” awards list in 2011.
Bartley currently resides in the Hill District.
