Best of Trumpet Awards 2015 red carpet (photos)

MARIETTA, Ga. —  Xernona Clayton, the founder and CEO of the Trumpet Awards, was stunting strong as she flossed her floor-length mink coat as she was flanked by her husband, judge Paul Brady, giving competition to her fellow celebrity attendees at the annual salute to black greatness.
Clayton, a former aide to the late, legendary Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights Movement, was joined on the red carpet at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in suburban Atlanta by the likes of Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx, Janell Monae, Academy Award-nominated actress Quvenzhane Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild) Nauturi Naughton, Claudia Jordan, Roland Martin of TV One, TV One and Radio One founder Cathy Hughes, Academy Award-winning actor Lou Gossett Jr. and many others.
