We’ve seen this tragic movie play out before.
In a shocking and eerie replica of a horrific episode the world saw unfold just a few years ago, Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Saturday and taken to a hospital in suburban Atlanta, police officials told the media.
Brown, also the daughter of R&B singer Bobby Brown, was discovered motionless by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend and they applied CPR to try to revive her, said Officer Lisa Holland, a spokeswoman for the Roswell Police Department. Fire and police personnel gave additional care to Brown before she was rushed alive to North Fulton Hospital.

There is no word yet on her current condition or what substances is in Bobbi Kristina’s system, if any, police said.
Legendary singer Whitney Houston, of course, was found dead in a hotel bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012, at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on the eve of the Grammy Awards. Houston, 48, had been addicted to cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills and alcohol and that toxic combination first robbed her of her angelic singing voice and, ultimately, her life.
Los Angeles County medial examiner’s office concluded that “The Greatest Love of All” and “I Will Always Love You” singer accidentally drowned. Heart disease and cocaine use were listed as contributing factors in Houston’s death.
Over her career, Houston sold more than 100 million records around the world by belting out that powerful, almost operatic voice through chart-topping hits like “Saving All My Love For You,” ”I Will Always Love You,” ”The Greatest Love of All” and “I’m Every Woman.”
