Music boss Rick Ross announced that his ever-expanding Maybach Music Group will open an office at Twelve Studios in Atlanta.
Ross said he will partner with Dina Marto, the 31-year-old music executive sensation and owner and founder of Atlanta-based Twelve Music Group, to launch Artists First, a new talent search for young artists and producers. Ross and Marto go back to 2006 when she worked at Def Jam Records and Ross recorded his music there.
Before the announcement, Marto was presented with a proclamation from Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall “in recognition of one of the music industry’s rising entrepreneurs.”
Marto has attained local and national renown for helping to produce hits for music A-listers as Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus at her Midtown Atlanta.
Ross is a four-time Grammy nominated rapper and was named as the ‘Hottest MC in the Game’ by MTV in 2012. He was the first artist signed to Diddy’s management company Ciroc Entertainment. He released five of his studio albums through Maybach Music Group.
