While you’re lovin’ these pretenders of today’s game, just remember this, “The Big O” Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double for a career, Nate “Tiny” Archibald led the NBA in scoring and assists for a season – Kareem averaged 30 points a game at age 37 for the playoffs (Tim Duncan averaged 15 points) Connie Hawkins was the MVP in the ABL, ABA, played for years with the Globetrotters and was a four time NBA All-Star while still being called one of the greatest New York legends of all time and the blue print for Dr. J. and Michael Jordan.

:07—Tiger Woods will take a time out break to recover from the back problems. Trust me, he will rule again. Take it to the bank.
:06—Bosh is out for the season for the Heat. He’s got a serious medical condition. Blood clots on his lungs. I wish him and his family the very best…but, I still hate the Heat. I know that’s cold, but that’s how I roll. Peace!
:05—The Pirates are in spring training camp. All the contracts are signed. Pedro is at first and Palanco put on 25 pounds of muscle…now let’s go win us a World Series.
