TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) – The Arizona Cardinals have signed free agent inside linebacker LaMarr Woodley to a one-year contract.
The eight-year NFL veteran played his first seven seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was with the Oakland Raiders last year.
A Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection in 2009, Woodley was released by the Raiders in February.
He was sidelined for the season with a torn biceps late last October, an injury he sustained in a game against Arizona. Woodley has 57 career sacks.
