It’s official: “Fashion Police” is circling the commode and going down fast.
The Joan Rivers-inspired comedy and fashion masterpiece show has claimed another casualty as comedian Kathy Griffin abruptly quit the program after only seven episodes.
Griffin’s resignation comes just two weeks after former co-host Kelly Osbourne quit after in the aftermath of Giuliana Rancic’s racist remarks about Zendaya’s choice to wear faux dreadlocks to the 2015 Academy Awards in February.
The Grammy and Emmy award-winning comedian cited the show’s mean-spirited aura and unnecessary denigration of people as justification for bouncing from “Fashion Police” after just two months for filling in for the late, legendary Rivers who died from complications from throat surgery last year.
