Elementary Teacher
Falk School, a coeducational K-8 laboratory school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, seeks a full-time, dynamic, and experienced Elementary Teacher, grades 1-2, for the next academic year, beginning August 2015.
Salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience. Falk School, which is a department in the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh, offers excellent benefits.
The successful candidates should have several years of successful teaching experience in an elementary classroom setting and experience in unit planning in all relevant content areas.  She/he must be an individual who is sensitive to children’s differences and needs; he/she must be a teacher who exhibits an authentic passion and enthusiasm for progressive education, and one who understands and appreciates the value of inquiry and exploration. She/he must be a self-motivated life-long learner who is willing to work in an intellectually demanding setting with high-expectations. The position involves working in close collaboration with colleagues, so strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
A Master’s Degree and a degree in elementary education or equivalent coursework are required. Broad experience is advantageous, as collaboration across disciplines and grade levels is valued at our school. Highly creative work experience in the field of elementary education is an asset.

Pediatric Critical Care
Telemedicine Physician
University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks a Pediatric Critical Care Telemedicine Physician in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to provide services via telemedicine from office in Pittsburgh. As primary contact, provide pediatric cardiac consultations and patient monitoring to physicians in Spanish speaking countries via telemedicine. Responsible for obtaining history, records, test results and other needed medical information to discuss for specific therapy, to make recommendations and to monitor patients. Responsible for data collection and analysis of outcomes for telemedicine encounters, identify trends and improvement opportunities, make recommendations to leadership. Lead research studies related to the pediatric ICU telemedicine service. In charge of all educational activities and meetings related to telemedicine services. Must be available for telemedicine calls when on call for telemedicine service. Supervises one CICU Research Associate. Must have medical degree; must have completed Pediatric residency and Pediatric Cardiology fellowship; must have Spanish language medical fluency; must have valid, unrestricted PA medical license.
