PITTSBURGH (AP) – A suburban Pittsburgh man has been arrested in a shooting that injured six people at a nightclub in the city’s Strip District.
Davon Loveings of Wilkinsburg was charged Thursday with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
The 24-year-old is jailed in lieu of $250,000 bail. Online court records didn’t list a lawyer to comment on the charges.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 25.
Police say a man was shot in the thigh in the March 1 shooting at Ivy Pittsburgh.
Four women and a man were injured by broken glass as they attempted to leave the nightclub.
The nightclub said it would voluntarily close and surrender its liquor license after the shooting.
Loveings is due in court in May on unrelated drug and stolen property charges.
