The Wholehearted
The Kelly Strayhorn Theater presents Stein | Holum Projects’ “The Wholehearted” at 8 p.m. at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, 5941 Penn Ave., East Liberty. This one-woman play, inspired by the lives of iconic women in sports and boxing history, tells the story of Dee Crosby, a fictitious world champion boxer determined to get redemption after being taken down in her prime by her abusive husband. Blues/Jazz Fundraiser
P.R.O.M.I.S.E. presents its 7th Annual Blues, R&B and Jazz Showcase Fundraiser Event from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at the Hard Rock Café, 230 W. Station Square Dr., Station Square.
