Traffic Assistant
WPXI has an immediate opening for a Traffic Assistant. The traffic assistant is responsible for scheduling local, national, local-live streaming and secondary station commercials into the traffic system prior to daily log deadlines. Manager – Way
Port Authority is seeking an experienced Manager – Way to manage all activities and employees within the Way Department.  Responsible for administrative activities, outside contracts, and capital project activities, as related to Authority right-of ways, structures and support equipment. Investigate maintenance problems and initiate corrective action. Oversees, develops, and administers standardized programs designed to comply with applicable organizational policies and procedures.
Job requirements include:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•BA/BS degree in Engineering or Business Administration or directly related field from an accredited school. Experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in rail/track maintenance and/or roadway maintenance and construction.
•Minimum of three (3) years supervisory/managerial experience in rail/roadway maintenance.
•Effective and professional communication skills.
•A team player with a participative management style.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows and Microsoft Word.
•Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints and specifications.
•Ability to respond on a 24-hour basis.
•Customer focused, well organized and results oriented.

•BA/BS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or directly related field from an accredited school. Directly related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in electrical systems related or relevant to: substation and electronic power systems, AC/DC conversion applications, electric line construction, utility maintenance, electrical maintenance, electronic maintenance, electronic/mechanical maintenance, switch and signal technology maintenance and power distribution systems maintenance.
•Minimum of three (3) years managerial/supervisory experience.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows and Microsoft Word.
•Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints and specifications.
•Ability to respond on a 24-hour basis.
•Effective and professional communications skills.
•A team player with a participative management style.
•Customer focused, well organized and results oriented.
Preferred attributes:
•Experience working as a lineman; or in a capacity performing signal maintenance or substation maintenance.
