The Allegheny County Housing Authority is requesting bids from quailed firm/individuals to provide Refuse Collection Service, per specifications for it locations throughout Allegheny County.

A pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Allegheny County Housing Authority Board Room on the 12th Floor.
Bids are due by 10:00 a.m. local time, Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Allegheny County Housing Authority, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as determined by the General Wage Determinations issued under the Davis-Bacon and related Acts must be paid on these projects.
Proposals must be made on the Authority’s form and in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and the “Instructions to Bidders”’.
The non-refundable charge for the Bid Documents and a Disk containing the Plans and Specifications is $150.00; mailing can be arranged for an additional $75.00 charge.

THE RIDC REGIONAL GROWTH FUND is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to perform Reroofing Construction at the RIDC – Westmoreland Site, Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland County, PA
Bids will be received at the office of  Mazza Design Solutions, LLC, 232 Center Grange Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001-1421 no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Bids are to be in sealed envelopes, the outside to clearly indicate that it is a sealed bid, the name of the bidder, the due date and time, and the project title: “SEALED BID – RIDC WM REROOFING”.
Bid specs & plans may be obtained at cost from MAZZA DESIGN SOLUTIONS, LLC, 232 Center Grange Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001-1421, Phone 724-728-8111.
Each proposal shall be made upon forms provided and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in the amount of 10% of all the base and alternate bids.  No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after bid opening.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will be held on site at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015.
The Project is funded by the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP). Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Trade Practices Act and Americans with Disabilities Act apply to the project. Public Works Contractors’ Bond Law: Payment and Performance Bonds (100% of Contract Value) and a two (2) year Maintenance Bond are required on this project. The Prevailing Wage Determination Act is applicable for this project and notarized certified payrolls shall be properly executed and submitted for review and approval. Fidelity Bonds apply to the project. Insurance: Worker’s Compensation Insurance, Comprehensive General Liability Insurance, Property Damage Insurance, Identify Commonwealth as Additionally Insured. These Conditions to be incorporated into all construction contracts between RIDC and contractor, contractor and subcontractor(s), and subcontractor(s) and lower tiered subcontractor(s).

The City of Pittsburgh is requesting proposals from qualified professional firms to provide live and recorded captioning and live and recorded interpretation (ASL and tactile), for City meetings, videos and events on an as-needed basis. Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and/or Women Business Enterprise (WBE) participation is requested in all City of Pittsburgh contracts. Participation may be demonstrated by utilization of MBE/WBE firms through the use of subcontractors.
