Finding Alternative Funding
    MAY 21—The University of Pittsburgh Small Business Development Center will host “Finding Alternative Funding for Your Small Business: Local Lenders Showcase” from 7:30-10 a.m. at the University of Pittsburgh, William Pitt Union Assembly Room, Fifth Avenue, Oakland. This seminar will help individuals who are trying to identify new sources of capital to grow or start their business and introduce them to some of the local non-bank lenders in the region. Lunch and Learn Series
    MAY 21— The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host its Lunch & Learn Series at 12:15 p.m. at the Downtown & Business Branch, 612 Smithfield St., Downtown. The topic will be “How to Start and Grow Your Business Using A to Z Databases.” Christine Smailys, of A to Z Databases, will teach attendees how to use A to Z Databases to start and grow one’s business.
