OAKLAND, Calif. — Despite the fact that J.R. Smith woke up for a half, LeBron James was, once again, a one-man show for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and you cannot win a championship that way.
With two NBA All-Stars (Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love) sidelined with injuries for championship-starved Cleveland, and another workhorse already down for the season (Anderson Varajao), the Golden State Warriors are simply wearing the depleted Cavs down in every 4th quarter of the series by kicking the game into overdrive in the 2nd half.

James finished the game with his third 40-point game of the NBA Finals, including his second triple-double (40 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists) but it simply was not enough when J.R. Smith got ghost in the second half and failed to score after torching the Warriors with 14 in the first half. That, combined with Steph Curry’s 17 points in the 4th quarter to finish with the game with 37 points as the Warriors pulled away — again — late and beat the Cavs 104-91 to take a commanding 3-games-2 lead.
Social media was not kind to the Cavs, but there was some truth to what was being said. Take a look at some of the funniest social media takes on the Cavs’ one-man show.
