On June 14, at approximately 7:45 p.m., a person walking a dog near Chalmers Street, in Swissvale, reportedly came across the body of 3-year-old Adrionna Williams in a shallow ravine; it was shortly after the girl’s family had gone to the Wilkinsburg police station to report her missing at 7:05 p.m.
According to a release from county officials, Williams was last seen at 6:30 p.m. and that investigators are treating the death as a homicide. Police are asking for anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the area from 6:30-7:30 p.m. to contact the county Homicide Unit.
Investigators believe that the toddler did not walk to the location where her body was found, but that it was placed there after her death, and that in this stage of their investigation, a stranger did not abduct her.

The community is coming together to support the family, with a planned rally and a GoFundMe campaign that is currently underway.
