The theme was “Teachable Moments.” Such things as how to tie a necktie, learn how to eat with chopsticks, skincare and ballroom dancing, were among the lessons taught.

“Our kids learning must not be taken for granted. Some of the basic skills of growing up were taught to us by our parents and love ones. These things, as simple as they are, require time, patience and love,” said Watson, who has been a part of this community for most of his life.

Hosanna House is a center in the Wilkinsburg community for all.
The facility provides opportunity for many, to help with families in crisis, homelessness, job training and life lessons.

This being the first of its kind, Watson hopes to continue this as a tradition in the future.
