Comedy and TV legend Bill Cosby admitted he that bought Quaaludes and used Benadryl to knock out woman in order to have sex with her, according to a copy of the deposition that was released on the sexual assault lawsuit a Temple University employee filed against him.
Cosby unleashed the hounds at the law firm that represented him to try to keep the documents under lock and key forever. But they have now been released and the shocking testimony in 2005 may complete the irreversible destruction of his mountainous legacy. Cosby, as has been previously reported in a myriad of media outlets 10 years ago, had eventually settled the case with Andrea Constand for an undisclosed amount of money. The documents connected to the case were just released today.
Cosby said he had purchased the Quaaludes with the intent to give them to women he wanted to have sex with. He also said he had given Constand three half-pills of Benadryl.
The Associated Press had filed documents demanding the release of the testimony. Cosby’s attorneys tried to have it blocked, claiming revealing the material would embarrass him.
But the information is out there now. And the Cosby mystique is now completely destroyed.
