Coro is seeking nominations and applications from individuals who are passionate about making an impact in the community, have an interest in discovering new ways of tackling community challenges, and are genuinely curious about a particular theme or issue of relevance to the quality of life in their community.
NEXT Neighborhood Leaders is a two-year, part-time leadership enhancement and community-building program for people who work, live in, or care about Wilkinsburg. It offers a unique opportunity to join a diverse cohort of neighbors who are ready to take on new leadership roles and willing to collaborate with other community leaders, Coro Fellows, and Public Allies on collective impact projects to strengthen the community.
Applications are due on September 1, 2015. All applicants will be notified of the status of their applications no later than September 30, 2015. The program begins October 1, 2015. Applicants should have strong ties to the Wilkinsburg community and be committed to completing the program in its entirety.
