MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. (AP) _ Police were searching for someone who shot at two men in a car, forcing them to run into a Pittsburgh-area strip club for safety.
McKees Rocks police say one of the men in the car was wounded when someone opened fire about 11 p.m. Sunday.
Police Chief Jim Lauria says the driver then tried to back out of a one-way street to get away from the gunfire, but wound up backing the car over a hill. The second man in the car broke his ankle in the process.
Police say the men ran into Club Erotica where the manager called 911.
Police were continuing to search for the shooter Monday, and didn’t immediately release the names of those injured.

Woman dead in Pennsylvania fire may have been rescuing pets
ETNA, Pa. (AP) _ Authorities have identified a woman killed in a western Pennsylvania house fire, while her sister who survived believes her sibling may have perished trying to rescue some pets.
Allegheny County authorities say the dead woman is 31-year-old Stephanie Krulia.
The county fire marshal was trying to figure out what started the blaze in the home she shared with her sister, 33-year-old Christy Claypoole. Claypoole jumped from a window onto a storage shed which helped break her fall, but Krulia couldn’t get out.
The fire was reported about 10 p.m. Saturday in Etna, a suburb just east of Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh neighborhood throwing bash for doomed bridge
PITTSBURGH (AP) _ The city of Pittsburgh is throwing a bash designed to help businesses in one neighborhood that will be cutoff once a bridge is demolished this fall.
The Greenfield Bridge, built in 1922, is slated for demolition after it closes Oct. 18. The bridge connects Greenfield _ a neighborhood with a vibrant residential and business district _ with two other thriving neighborhoods, Oakland and Squirrel Hill.
Because the bridge spans Interstate 376, it will be much more difficult for residents to move among those neighborhoods, and city officials and business owners are concerned Greenfield will bear the brunt.
The “Greenfield Bridge Rock Away the Blues Party” will feature a concert by Pittsburgh’s Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers, and a raffle to determine who gets to push the demolition plunger.
The bridge should be replaced by May 2017.
