Reporting to the Vice President of Campaign, the WLC Director is responsible for the overall management of the WLC program, managing relationships and securing support from female donors who are capable of making gifts of $1,000+ annually. This individual will lead an effort to build a movement of women philanthropists through the development and implementation of a plan for growth in membership and fundraising across the county. The Director of WLC will manage a personal portfolio of current donors and prospects, as well as manage one WLC Development Officer.
United Way is seeking an experienced, passionate and creative leader to work with WLC members, aligning them to United Way of Allegheny County’s vision and mission, specifically our United for Women Initiative. This individual will develop strategy, lead projects, events and activities related to the WLC.
This candidate will be an individual with a rich major gifts fundraising background, who has had progressive and successful development experience and who has a strong track record of successful management.
