•    Darryl Dawkins, aka “Chocolate Thunder” died of a sudden and unexpected heart attack at the much too young age of 58.  “Big DD” played with mighty Dr. J., led the Philadelphia 76ers and was a major force in the NBA during his time.  (I had the pleasure and privilege to meet Darryl and trust me, if anyone lived 58 years to the fullest, it was him.)
•    By now you know that Michael Vick has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers to back up Big Ben.  For those “of us” who know, we’re good about it.  For “them” who don’t know . . . get over it and live with it!!  (Oh just read between the lines mmmaaannn!)
•    Ex-Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, Molly Shattuck was sentenced for rape of a 15 year old boy.  She must spend every other weekend in a work release program . . . ok, whatever . . . if you want to call that justice, so be it.  But I promise you this, the 15 year old boy, wherever he is, ain’t complaining!!!  What?  Hey, you know I only tell the truth here.  You were thinking it and you know it!
•    When it rains, it truly pours.  After the Steelers lose Maurkice Pouncey, they find out today that wide receiver Martavis Bryant will be suspended for 4 games for substance abuse.  If there’s a stupid award for the week he gets it . . . if he’s guilty . . . they only test the players twice a season.  C’mon Man!
•    All Hail the King . . . and to hell with Hitler.  On this day in sports history, Jessie Owens showed the German wanna be superior race the true meaning of greatness by winning 4 gold medals in the Olympics of 1936.  I got your Aryan nation right here!!!
