Emerging crowd pleaser, The Seal Breakers releases new single, “Is It Possible.”
The group frequently travels throughout the U.S. playing at churches, schools, festivals, colleges/universities, and civic functions-spreading the message of love and hope through music. With the eclectic blending of R&B, a spoonful of hip-hop and a healthy dose of gospel, The Seal Breakers continue their mission to entertain, inspire, and educate through their music.

Formed in 2001, the talented band combines diverse personalities and different backgrounds to offer a unified showmanship with the soul-stirring sonics of brass, gospel, R&B and hip-hop.
The Seal Breakers came about when their visionary founder, Craig Williams, wanted to create music reminiscent of what he heard in his church-as well as inspiration from bands like The Ohio Players, Chicago and Sly and the Family Stone.

The first new album in decades from legendary vocalist Darlene Love, “Introducing Darlene Love,” is available. and classic songs from a superstar cast of songwriters eager to showcase one of the most seminal voices in music history.
Elvis Costello and Bruce Springsteen contribute two tracks each to the 14-song album (released on Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool label in partnership with Columbia Records)—with Stevie Van Zandt penning three songs.  Other writers include Jim Webb, Linda Perry, Desmond Child, Joan Jett, longtime songwriting team Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, and Michael Des Barres, and more.
 
 
‘Blackbird’

“Blackbird” tells the story of 17-year-old Randy (Julian Walker), a devout Christian who is hiding a secret inner struggle—the denial of being gay. Since his father (Isaiah Washington) left, Randy takes care of his emotionally disturbed mother (Mo’Nique) and is the kind of friend all of his classmates can depend on. It is not until he opens himself up to love that he discovers that becoming a man means accepting who you really are.
Based on the same title novel by Larry Duplechan, the film, which was released in theaters on April 24, is directed by Patrik-Ian Polk (Noah’s Arc,The Skinny). The film stars Academy Award winning actress and comedian Mo’Nique, Isaiah Washington, Terrell Tilford, D. Woods, Gary L. Gray, Torrey Laamar, Kevin Allesee, Nikki Jane and Julian Walker.
