PITTSBURGH, PA – At approximately 3 a.m. Zone 5 Officers and Paramedics were dispatched to Simmie’s Restaurant & Lounge at 8500 Frankstown Avenue in East Hills for a report of a male who had been shot.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that a security guard had been shot while sitting outside of the establishment.
Paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A dark sedan was seen fleeing the area. The investigation is ongoing.
